BOB’S BLOODY MARY

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup tomato juice

  • 3 tbl. Vodka (Omit for a virgin Mary)

  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce

  • ¾ tsp. freshly grated horseradish

  • 1 tsp. Uncle Bob’s hot sauce

  • 1 pinch of salt

  • 1 pinch of freshly ground black pepper

  • 1 c. ice cubes

  • ¼ tsp. fresh lemon juice

  • 1 stalk celery

  • 1 lemon wedge

Method

1. Stir together tomato juice, vodka, Worcestershire sauce, horseradish, UB hot sauce, salt and pepper.

2. Fill glass with ice, then pour the mixture into a second glass.

3. Pour back and forth between glasses 3-4 times to mix well.

4. Sprinkle lemon juice over*.

5. Garnish with celery stalk and lemon wedge to serve.

Recipe Variation:

Instead of sprinkling lemon juice over, rim the glass and dip in salt. Like it hotter? Mix with a touch of cayenne pepper.
